October 6 - 8 2000, Friday - SundayWEEKEND IN BEAUTIFUL TENBY, WALES with PETERDiscover the beautiful seaside resort
of Tenby, in south west Wales, during this long weekend. The seaside resort is
known as the Ibiza of Wales with its fantastic beaches, lively nightlife and
fresh Atlantic sea air. Your host will show you around the town and lead you on
excursions to local beauty spots. Yes, you will have up to three days and
two/three nights to enjoy - and photograph, old castles, four beautiful beaches
and even a famous monastery on a picturesque island, which everyone will sail to
one day. Full board and lodgings is only £10 per person for the entire weekend!
As this event is sure to be popular, please reserve your place as soon as
possible. How to get there: Take the direct bus - the 508 bus, via Swansea,
which takes less than six hours.
The price from Victoria station is about £32 return, though less for holders of a "National Express Student Discount Coachcard" (see www.gobycoach.com for more information, bookings, etc). It might be an idea to arrange a car share if enough of you are going. As there is now accommodation space for eight people, there could even be room for you to bring a friend. Several KIS members can recommend Peter Hill's weekend trips - he has been doing them for many years! If you are not able to go on this particular weekend, but would like to go later in the year still, please, contact him and arrange another weekend to visit.
