Cambridgeshire. We shall be heading for Cambridge to see as many of the colleges
as we can (both from the outside and inside). There will also be various squares
to discover, including Market Square - one of the Cambridge's main shopping
areas. Your guide will make a stop at the "Galloway and Porter" bookshop, where
many discounted books are on offer. After the tour everyone will stroll to the
beautiful village of Grantchester, for afternoon tea at the Orchard Café.
Then it is back to Cambridge for a snack and/or a bit of last minute shopping for souvenirs. English-language teachers might be interested in attending the evening launch of a new textbook, "Working in English", by Leo Jones, the author of many well-written and practical English-language textbooks. Bus trip is only £8 off-peak day return with National Express. Depart from Victoria Coach Station. Nearest tube station: Victoria (Victoria, Circle and District lines).
