CROUCH END FESTIVAL CHORUS PRESENTS "TANGO CLASICO!" FEATURING BRAZILIAN AND PARAGUAYAN-INSPIRED "ITAIPU", AT BARBICAN

Two premieres: Itaipu by Philip Glass and Misa Tango by Luis Bacalov will be presented at this evening's event, along with Piazzolla's Libertango and Lambert's Rio Grande. The former was inspired by a dam built on the Igauzu Falls that are on the border between Brazil and Paraguay.
