LAST DAY TO VIEW ART COLLECTION BY SENEGAL AND CAMEROONS-TRAVELLED ARTIST, RICHARD HARRISON

Widely-travelled artist Richard Harrison is having his exhibition of "apocalyptic" and "organic"-looking art on at the Albemarle Gallery, just off Piccadilly. He has travelled not only all along the West African coast but also to South Africa and even further afield, to Australia. No doubt, the many shades and colours of international soils, earths, rocks - and geology in general, have had their influences on his art. But also life and death is seen through suggestions of "the animal" and "pestilence" as seen by the flowing strokes present in his works of art.

In fact, today is your last chance to see it, as 11 of the 18 paintings (ranging in price from £2,750 to £9,980) that have been on show - for the last two weeks, have already been sold and will soon be on their way to their new owners. Still available though, are two shown in the illustrated brochure we picked up at the show's successful preview in January. They are the mystical-looking, "Angle Tarn" and somewhat brighter, "Sleep", both measuring 153cm by 183cm (60 inches by 72 inches). Our favourite is the somewhat larger "Chasm", which is located at the very back of the gallery, facing you as you enter. E-mail... (see website) for more information, if required. Location: Albemarle Gallery, 49 Albemarle Street. London, W1. Nearest tube station: Green Park (Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines).
