November 2002USA AND UNITED NATIONS: LOCATIONS FOR MORE 'HOW TO ENJOY LONDON' PUBLICITYContinuing on from our publicising 'How to enjoy London' (hteL) in different European countries last year, this month we are doing some publicity in the United States, specifically New York City (NYC) and the United Nations (UN). The idea is to get people to travel over to England to enjoy everything London has to offer. Eventually we would also like to do the reverse, as there are many things in NYC and the UN that Londoners would like. Whether it be guided tours or exhibits of international craftsmanship, there is something for everyone. The United States is the furthest we will have travelled, in order to boost our free and paid-for circulations of 'How to enjoy London' (hteL).
But, we feel, it will be well worth it! Yes, many people travel between both New York and London, and hteL has the chance to fill their lives - on a weekly basis, with positive listings related to entertainments, cultures, tastes, etc. If any subscriber knows any people working at the UN or within the five boroughs of New York, please, please e-mail... as soon as possible. We will endeavour to entertain them, on your behalf, before persuading them to come to London to continue having that enjoyable, good time.
