According to the information sent to us by the gallery, the 'prints are based on a selection of 35 of his paintings dating from 1965 up until 1991. Bacon worked with French, Italian and Spanish printers - following a European tradition of artists collaborating with skilled master printers, which dates back to the Renaissance.
