ROYAL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA PERFORM MUSIC FROM AMERICAN FILM CLASSICS IN "FILMHARMONIC"

Today is the second and last day of "Filmharmonic", a weekend event when The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra play music from British and American films. This evening it is the turn of "American Film Classics" and you will have a chance to hear music from: Cinema Paradiso; Close Encounters; Doctor Zhivago; E.T.; Mission Impossible; Moon River; Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves; The Great Escape; The Lord of the Rings; The Mission; Titanic; etc.

Conducting the orchestra is Paul Bateman, and the presenter for the evening is Simon Bates. So, a real treat for movie fans and for music "aficionados" alike! Tickets, from £6 to £33, available from the box office on 020 7960 4242. Location: Royal Festival Hall, Belvedere Road, London, SE1. Tube station: Embankment (Bakerloo, Northern, Circle and District lines).
