August 10 2003, Sunday, 2.30pm-6.30pmINTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL BY RICHMOND RIVERSIDE PLUS VISIT TO MUSEUM OF RICHMOND - BOTH FREE!We are grateful for hteL subscriber, Gordon Beal's e-mail message - recently sent through the Kensington International Society (KIS) e-mail group. Here is an extract of what he says, 'Meet Gordon and friends on Sunday 10 Aug, between 2.30 and 2.45pm, at Richmond railway and tube station (District Line, National Rail and Silverlink Metro, Zone 4) outside WHSmith's, which is opposite the ticket office, to go to the "On The Edge" music programme at Richmond Riverside.
The programme consists of rock, blues and soul until 3.30pm, North African and Arabic music from 3.30 to 5.30pm; and Latin American music from 5.30 until the festival ends at 6.30pm. For more details of the programme, see http://www.richmond.gov.uk/depts/opps/eal/leisure/arts/OnTheEdge/default.htm. I will take those who want to the nearby Museum of Richmond around 3.15pm. Entrance is free, and the museum closes at 4pm, leaving ample time to return to the Riverside.'
