October 12 2003, Sunday, 10am-6pmAUTUMN IDEAL HOME SHOW FEATURES MANY EXHIBITS, INCLUDING LOW-CAFFEINE "JABLUM" COFFEE, FROM JAMAICA - THANKS TO SYDENHAM-BASED IMPORT AGENCY EXHIBITING - PLUS ART OF BOSHAM (NEAR CHICHESTER) FROM GUILDFORD-BASED, "ROBIN MULLEN GALLERY"There are several sections to this year's Ideal Home Show. They are: Food and Drink; Furniture; Furniture Gifts & Home Accessories; Kitchens and Bathrooms; Leisure and Entertainment; Renovation and Home Improvement and, finally, The Outdoor Room. In all, we counted just under two hundred exhibitors at the latest show. And earlier this month - one lunchtime, we enjoyed ourselves viewing several of the exhibitors showing off their wares. One exhibit, which caught our attention - with varied abstract and seascape paintings - was the Robin Mullen Gallery, based in Guildford.
This was after having tried a Jamaican "Sorrel" drink and learnt something about Blue Mountain's "Jablum" coffee, at an exhibition stand being enthusiastically run by E & J UK Agencies, an import agency - specialising in drinks and spices - based in Sydenham. Go along and discover these and many more. Admission: £12 (OAPs: £10) or telephone 0870 606 6080, in advance, to pre-book and save £1 on your admission ticket. Location: Earl's Court Exhibition Centre, Warwick Road, London, SW5. Tube station: Earl's Court (District and Piccadilly lines).
