October 2 2004, Saturday, 10am-6pmAFTER SOLO EXHIBITIONS - THROUGHOUT THE NINETIES - IN CUMBRIA, OXFORD, SUFFOLK & SUSSEX, NICK SCHLEE’S EXHIBITION, "PORTRAITS OF A LANDSCAPE" BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO LANDSCAPES IN TWO OTHER ENGLISH COUNTIES: BERKSHIRE & WILTSHIREToday is the
last day to see Weybridge-born artist, Nick Schlee’s current exhibition,
"Portraits of a Landscape," which is taking place at Gallery 27 in Cork
Street.
On the back wall of the
gallery’s upstairs you will see another of our favourites. It is titled, "Barn
beneath the Ridgeway" (£2,200, 42" x 48") and shows a landscape scene
interspersed with many trees. Go along and see these and many others. It is a
wonderful opportunity to discover what scenes of Berkshire and Wiltshire you
like, and – you never know! You might come away the happy new owner of a lovely
picture. Just guessing… but, probably your home could do with a lovely painting
of the English countryside, showing barns, fields, stubble and/or trees!
