October 11 2004, Monday, 4.30pm for 5pm departure from the College

FREE GUIDED TOUR OF BELGRAVIA TO WESTMINSTER, VIA BUCKINGHAM PALACE (HOME TO KINGS & QUEENS SINCE 1800s), TO BE FOLLOWED BY CLASSICAL MUSIC BY COMPOSERS BEETHOVEN, KOPPEL & RAVEL, IN CONCERT, GIVEN BY "THE COPENHAGEN TRIO"

Join students and teachers from LCC, the London Center College (a college of Business Studies, Computing, English Language and Internet Technologies, and where - later this month, on October 20 2004, at 6pm – the, ‘Grand’ Opening of an exhibition of art and photography will take place. Free invitation, and more information will soon be e-mailed to all hteL subscribers) for a guided tour of Belgravia to Westminster. Everyone will take one of those new extra-long London buses, all the way to Victoria. On arrival our group shall walk along Buckingham Palace Road to Buckingham Palace, where a stop will be made for you to learn some interesting facts about this marvellous building that has been the home to kings and queens, since Queen Victoria in the 1800s. After walking through the streets of Westminster, everyone will end at a well-known concert hall, where – thanks to complimentary entrance tickets, arranged by one of the teachers at LCC - we shall enjoy the musical talents of, "The Copenhagen Trio" (made up of a cellist, pianist and violinist) in a concert of classical music pieces, written by composers Beethoven, Koppel and Ravel.

Latecomers can telephone 07881 505 347 (mobile number) between 5pm and 6.30pm only, for a later rendezvous… possibly outside Westminster Abbey. As well as being educational and informative, this guided tour ending with a concert all sounds like a lot of fun. Definitely worth attending, and maybe bring a friend or two along to enjoy the experience even more!
